DESCRIPTION
Magnesium Upsets for Fremont Flasks can be furnished to match any size and model of flask. Upsets of any depth up to 10” are available.
Flask Upsets are a great way to temporarily add depth to the cope and/or drag for specific pattern needs.
When Upsets are ordered for a flask already in use, Fremont Flask suggests that the flask section be returned to the factory for accurate installation of the Upset. However, if the flask cannot be returned, Fremont Flask can furnish the Upset in two loose pieces as illustrated above, for onsite adjustments.
Cams cannot be installed in Upsets under 3” in depth. All Spreadlock Flask Upsets 3” deep and over are furnished with cams and handles.
Unless otherwise specified, Upsets ordered with a new flask are attached to the steel faced flask section with steel facing on the Upset.
When ordering Upsets for a flask already in use, be sure to specify whether it is to be attached to the cope or drag of the flask, provide the desired depth of the upset and note the taper of the existing flask.
