The first Magnesium or Dowmetal Flask ever produced in the United States was made in Fremont, Ohio. Since 1938, The Fremont Flask Company has supplied Flasks, Jackets, and Molding Accessories to the foundry industry with unmatched quality and has become the industry standard.

The Fremont Flask company was a multi-generational business started by Carl Yeager in 1938. In 2022, Jim and John Yeager sold Fremont Flask to Brad Ade and Caitlin McMahan, owners of Marcellus Metalcasters Inc, a sandcasting iron foundry located in Bangor, Michigan.

Since the sale, the business has been moved from Ohio to Bangor, Michigan and continues to provide superior quality foundry equipment. The Fremont Flask Company maintains a well-stocked inventory of replacement parts to quickly fulfill customer needs while also accepting orders for custom flasks, jackets and other foundry equipment.
